frequently asked questions

what do I have to bring?

we prefer you bring only your child and their diaper bag (if applicable). please leave personal toys at home or in the car! a change of clothing is wise if you are concerned about your child getting messy during play.

my child has food allergies, do you serve food?

no food is served., but some sensory activities are made from food. please comment when signing up if your child has allergies to alert Marisa and her team. when indoors please refrain from eating in the play area.

if my child has a sibling may I bring them?

in an effort to keep the play groups smaller, we ask that you please contact us directly to discuss if we can accommodate a second child. please note there will be additional fees for siblings who will be playing.

how do I request a new play group in my area?

if you do not see a class that fits your schedule, please feel free to email us to make a request to organize a new play group. for new play group requests, please ensure that you have a minimum of 8 children.

it is also ideal that you have a location to host your play group (we are hoping to have permanent location in near future!)

what is the refund policy?

classes are non-refundable. we understand life happens, but due to the small class size, our small business investment and the cost of materials, we do not offer refunds. should you not be able to attend a class, you may transfer or gift your spot in that class to another friend. please alert us beforehand so we have their information for the group. refunds are offered if a class is cancelled by Hart Play Lab.
